What was MICROMORPH?
MICROMORPH was an image analysis software package based on Mathematical
Morphology. It was developed at the Centre de Morphologie
Mathématique (CMM) of Mines Paristech.
MICROMORPH implemented the latest algorithmic innovations of
Mathematical Morphology. It was used as an educational software package
and it could also serve as a tool for development and application
breadboarding. MICROMORPH enabled the user to gain rapidly the
requisite know-how in Morphology, which results from the CMM 40 years
of experience.
You will find here a more detailed
description of the philosophy underlying the development of MICROMORPH
as well as a brief historical review of the software. In 2010, MICROMORPH has been replaced by MAMBA.
MICROMORPH is a Trademark of TRANSVALOR SA.
